Jim Cantalupo

Jim Cantalupo was an American businessman born on November 14, 1943, in Oak Park, Illinois. He attended Loyola University Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in sociology. Cantalupo began his career at McDonald’s Corporation, where he worked for over 28 years and eventually became the President and CEO of the company from 1999 to 2002. During his tenure, he successfully led McDonald’s through a significant turnaround, focusing on revitalizing the brand and improving customer satisfaction. Cantalupo was known for his practical leadership style and commitment to fostering a positive corporate culture. Unfortunately, he passed away suddenly on April 19, 2004, at the age of 60, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the business world.
