Don Dokken

Don Dokken is a widely recognized German-American musician who is known as the founder, lead singer, and principal songwriter of the heavy metal band Dokken. Born on June 29, 1953, in Cologne, Germany, he moved to the United States in his youth. In the late 1970s, he formed Dokken, which achieved commercial success throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. With his distinctive vocal style characterized by a powerful range and melodic sensibility, Dokken led the rise of the band, responsible for hits such as “Breaking the Chains” and “In My Dreams”.
