Augustine Birrell

Augustine Birrell was a British author, lawyer, and politician, born on January 19, 1850. He is best known for his works of biography and criticism, as well as his witty and humorous writing style. Birrell studied at the University of Cambridge and was called to the bar in 1874. He later entered politics and served as a Member of Parliament for various constituencies.
