Anthony Powell

Anthony Powell was a British novelist born on December 21, 1905 in London, England. He attended Eton College and then studied at Balliol College, Oxford. Powell began his writing career as a journalist and became a prolific novelist, best known for his twelve-volume series titled “A Dance to the Music of Time.” This series, published between 1951 and 1975, established Powell as a prominent figure in the literary world. He wrote a total of twenty-eight books, including novels, memoirs, and critical works.
